Escondido, CA (10/25/05) -- Boris Said and Team All German Motorsports are to team up for the "TECATE SCORE Baja 1000" - November 17-20, 2005. The team drew the number one starting position in class for this race making their car number #101. Boris Said (Carlsbad, CA), Martin Christensen (Escondido, CA) and Dave Mason (Valley Center, CA) will share the driving duties in the All German Motorsports BMW-powered Unlimited Class 1 Car in the 2005 Baja 1000.

Said is a world-renowned race car driver currently focusing his efforts in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series where he is driving the #36 CENTRIX Financial Chevrolet. Martin Christensen and Dave Mason have been teamed up racing the All German Motorsports BMW M5-powered Unlimited Class 1 Car for the 2005 SCORE season and prior to that achieved great success in racing the All German Motorsports Class 10 Car to multiple class victories including a Baja 1000 win in 2004 and the 2002 and 2003 season championships.

When asked about the opportunity to race in the Baja 1000 Boris stated "This is something that has always been on my list. I am excited to race in the Baja 1000 especially after I did some prerunning for last year's Baja 1000 and my recent participation in the CORR Nissan Off Road Nationals, also after I saw the "Dust to Glory" movie I really got motivated to race the Baja 1000."

Boris Said is an established race car driver, getting his start in the SCCA ranks where he was the 1988 Rookie of the Year and Showroom Stock GT National Championship in 1989, 1990 and 1991. Reeves Callaway tabbed Said to drive his Callaway Corvette in Europe in 1993 and 1994.

After finishing eighth in the ADAC German Cup in 1993, Said got his first start at Le Mans the next year - from the GT2 pole - as well as another pole and a win at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium. Back in the United States, Said joined the SCCA Trans-Am Series, winning the Rising Star of the Year Award.

In 1998, Team PTG owner Tom Milner hired Said to drive in his BMW M3 IMSA program. Said won 15 races, including the Rolex 24 at Daytona in 1997 and 1998 and the 12 Hours of Sebring in 1998. Said had a full-time Craftsman Truck Series ride in 1997 and 1998 which allowed him to attain invaluable experience as he was sought out by top Cup teams to school drivers in the art of road racing.

In his first Cup start in 1998 at Watkins Glen, Said qualified fifth and went on to be a front-row starter and race leader in 1999. Some of Said's best performances in Cup races include sixth-place finishes the past two years at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma. He also captured the pole in MB2 Motorsports' #01 U.S. Army car at the 2003 Sonoma race and drove it to 10th place in the 2004 Bud Shootout at Daytona International Speedway. Said currently races in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series where he is driving the #36 CENTRIX Financial Chevrolet.

Martin Christensen is a business owner (All German Automotive) and professional off-road race car driver hailing from Escondido, CA. Martin was born in Denmark where he started racing the Danish National Motocross Championship Series and European Rally Series Group 2000, driving an Opel Ascona.

Martin's first class win at the Baja 1000 was in 1995 on his Yamaha 250. Martin then moved into the Sportsman class buggies (SCORE Class 9) where he won the Baja 1000 and class Championship in 1998. Martin then engineered a SCORE Class 10 car which he used to take two SCORE Class 10 Championships and a Baja 1000 victory in 2004. Martin is currently competing at the highest levels of off- road racing in a SCORE Class 1 (Unlimited) car.

Dave Mason is a VP of Operations for a major construction contractor (Eleven Western Builders) and a professional off-road race car driver hailing from Valley Center, CA. Dave's driving career dates back to 1986 when he entered his first race in the SCORE Class 9. Dave ran consistently in the top 10 during his Class 9 career.

Dave moved to Class 6 and joined the Herzog Racing Team where he piloted the Herzog Ford factory-sponsored Bronco with Danny Ashcraft; in 1990 they took a class win at the Baja 1000. In 1993 Dave raced a Class 7 Ford Ranger sponsored by Herzog Racing / Ford / BFGoodrich Tire. In 1998 Dave resumed racing career with best friend Danny Ashcraft in Score Light in a Porter chassis sponsored by Eleven Western Builders / Western C.N.C. where they had numerous top 10 finishes including the Baja 2000.

Dave joined the All German Motorsports team in 2002 to help the team take second place in the Baja 1000 and secure the Class 10 Championship. Then the following year Dave and the team went back to the Baja 1000 finishing fourth in class and once again clinching the Class 10 Championship, allowing the team to accomplish something that had not been done before (i.e., consecutive Class 10 Championships.)

Dave is currently sharing the driving duties in the All German Motorsports BMW M5 Class 1 Car in SCORE's pinnacle buggy class, "Unlimited Class 1." The "Car" is a SCORE Unlimited Class 1 car. This class of car has no regulated engine size nor suspension limitations, making this class an attractive class for teams desiring to go all out for a total race victory; 20 of the 37 Overall 4-wheel Baja 1000 victories went to buggy classes. The unique characteristics of the All German Motorsports Class 1 car include its BMW E39 M5 V8 engine package mated to a sequential-shifting five-speed Fortin transaxle suspended with Bilstein's newest shock technology, the Blackhawk. The All German Motorsports team consists of both volunteer effort and strong corporate sponsorship.

The team has 20-plus members with backgrounds in engineering, automotive technicians, medical industry, law enforcement, and project management. These diverse skills and a strong desire to win have proven to be a winning combination, taking the team to two class Championships and several victories and podium finishes.
