SARVER, PA -- Chad Kemenah put an exclamation point on his championship season Saturday night at Lernerville Speedway in the Haulmark All Star sprint car 35 lap Earl & Dave Bauman Memorial feature. The event paid Kemenah $6,000 to win with an extra $1,000 added to the winner's purse from race sponsor Commercial Truck & Trailer on night two of the Lernerville Gold Crown Weekend.

"All the credit goes to my brother and my crew, they did a really good job. It was a perfect race car to drive," Kemenah stated after his eighth win of the year in the Harble Motorsports No. 15K Eagle Chassis with a Kistler engine under the hood. "Four consecutive titles, I like that. We were lucky enough to come here tonight and win another feature." When asked about his plans for next season, Kemenah panned, "Nothing for sure. I just hope I'm not a Wal-Mart greeter."

Brock Mayes started from the pole with Blaine Heimbach alongside and Scott Bonnell and Ed Lynch Jr. made up row two. Kemenah and Randy Hannagan made up row three for the start. The initial start saw Ryan Coniam spin and Hannagan go pitside with a flat tire and wing damage. The second attempt saw Lee Jacobs, David Harrison and Mike Shearer spin, blocking the track and bringing out a red. Finally, the third start was a charm with Mayes jumping out in the lead. Kemenah took second on the second lap, followed by Lynch and Bonnell. After the leaders got into lapped traffic, Kemenah began closing in on Mayes, and the pair were side by side racing for the lead on lap 12. Kemenah used a low groove move going down the backstretch to take command and lead lap 13 and once in front, he cruised through lapped traffic for the win. His margin of victory was a quarter lap at the finish.

Lynch got around Mayes for second on lap 18, with Blaney following the Apollo Rocket past Mayes also. Blaney and Lynch put on a good duel for second for the next 13 laps when Blaney took that spot for good. Blaney ended up second at the end in the George Fisher Racing No. 2x with Lynch's J&J coming home third. Mayes ended up fourth and 10th starting Danny Smith was fifth at the end.

Byron Reed started 13th and fought his way to sixth at the finish, followed by 14th starter Mark Smith. Hannagan came back from his lap one repairs to charge through the pack for eighth and provisional starter Greg Wilson came from the last row to finish ninth. Tim Hunter completed the top ten finishers.

A $500 bonus went to Kemenah, the leader of lap 18 from Jack Lewis in memory of his son Spanky Lewis.

The Crown Battery heat fell to Mark Smith, the B&B Products heat went to Mike Linder, the Engler Machine and Tool heat was won by Caleb Griffith and the TP Wings heat fell to Mike Shearer. Jeremy Campbell won the Outerwears Pre-filters C Main and Dale Blaney won the University of Northwestern Ohio B Main. Hannagan captured the Haulmark Dash and was the Huggins Cams Fast Time qualifier. Greg Wilson flipped in his heat, and pulled out his backup car to run the C Main and used a provisional for the A Main. Paul May and Ricky Ferkel were other flip victims during the night.
