PONCE INLET, FL - The All Star sprint car series will make their first-ever visit to the brand new oval of Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, Ill. on Friday, Sept. 18. The race will be run in conjunction with the Sports Car Club of America Fall Sprints, in competition on the adjoining two-mile road course, Sept 18-20.

The inaugural event on the half-mile at Rt. 66 sets up a three race weekend for the All Stars. Following the Friday show, the annual Hoosier Fall Classic at Lawrenceburg, (IN) Speedway on Saturday, Sept.19 will pay $10,000 to win. Then the series heads back to Ohio on Sunday, Sept. 20 for the final appearance of the season at Flag City Motorsports Park.

September is a busy month for the traveling series, with events opening the month on Friday, Sept. 4 at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pa. for the annual Earl & Dave Bauman Memorial, paying $5,000 to win. Then it’s off to Sharon Speedway in Hartford, OH for the two-day Sharon Nationals. The Sat. Sept. 5 show pays $5,000 to win with Sunday’s final paying $10,000. Labor Day evening, the series visits Attica Raceway Park in Attica for the annual Monday night Attica Ambush.

The Tuscarora 50 weekend at Port Royal (PA) Speedway is up next Fri. and Sat. Sept. 11-12 with the Saturday event on the half-mile paying another $10,000 to win.

Following the Rt. 66, Lawrenceburg, Flag city weekend, the All Stars return to Mercer Raceway Park on the fairgrounds in Mercer, Pa. for another two-day show on Sept. 25-26.

The series concludes their points season in October at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg on Saturday, Oct. 3, with the final points race plus the $15,000 Commercial Truck and Trailer Shoot-out, featuring ten cars for ten laps with a $15,000 purse.
