Bridges Wires ASCS Southern Tour at Laurens County

LAURENS, South Carolina (June 3, 2006) -- Johnny Bridges notched his second Heintz Performance American Sprint Car Series Southern Tour feature win of the season by wiring the field in Saturday night's 25-lap main event at Laurens County Speedway.

Bridges took the lead at the outset and paced the field throughout to take the victory aboard the C&B Mushroom/Stainless Fabricators No. 07&J, with Brian Smith, Jeff Young, Eddie Hamilton and Coby Adams rounding out the top five.

Current series point leader Butch Pendergrass crossed the stripe sixth, with Lance Moss, Tim Perry, Jimmy Burns and Brandon McLain completing the top ten.

Burns and Smith topped heat race action.
