HANOVER, PA, 9/3/04 -- An emotional Billy Heltzel Jr. had his first victory celebration planned before coming into tonight's 358 sprint car feature race. York's Heltzel, a regular Trail-Way Speedway competitor, took the checkered flag, entered the infield and did several donuts. Soon after, Heltzel got out of his car and climbed atop, raising his arms in victory.

Heltzel led all the laps of the feature race. Veteran driver Dan Dietrich attempted to pass Heltzel several times but was involved in a turn two accident, resulting in his retirement for the night's event.

With Dietrich exiting the race, Jeff Rohrbaugh was moved up from third to the second position. Rohrbaugh was unable to catch the fast #28 J & H New and Used Appliances sprint car.

Rohrbaugh completed the night second followed by Ken Berwager in third, Danny Dietrich in fourth and Dan Richcreek completing the top five.

Rounding out the top ten were Brian Allman, Tim Wagaman, Woodly Linton, Bob Howard and points leader Billy Dietrich.

Heat winners were Troy Becker and Dan Dietrich.

For the second time this year, Mike Herman drove his #39X street stock into victory lane. Herman took the lead away from Bard Neiderer on the second lap and led the remainder of the fifteen laps.

Following Herman across the line was Danny Beard, Doug King, Ted Forsythe, and Kevin Sprague.

Randy Zechman took the lead away from Michael Gladfelter on the third lap to grab his first win of the 2004 season. Zechman led the final eighteen laps of the thundercar race.

Bryan Wagaman, Thomas Slusser Jr., Fred Lloyd, Jerry Bingaman completed the top five.
