</pre> What to Watch: It's the first round of the 12th Speedvision World Challenge season. Look for new cars with the Speedvision Touring Car Mazda Protégé and Audi A4 Quattro, the return of the RealTime Acura NSX and new aerodynamic kits for the Speedvision GT Porsche 911 GT3 Cup and Chevrolet Corvette C5.
Plenty of new faces and drivers with new teams to watch, but defending Speedvision GT and Touring Car Champions Jeff McMillin and Pierre Kleinubing are both returning in the rides that took them to gold in 2000.
New Toyo Proxes T1-S tires have been the big off-season discussion as the series moves to an ultra high-performance street tire from a racing DOT tire. The cars should move around more in the corners providing a challenge to drivers and more excitement for fans.
