The fact that he won the Million Race three times and reached Curitiba as the leader of the Stock Car championship this year, was not enough for Thiago Camilo to take the pole position.

Daniel Serra, who comes to the millionaire event after winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and is the vice-leader in the Brazilian Stock Car championship, looks in an illuminated phase. This Saturday, he scored 1'188.538 in the qualifying practice decision and won the seventh pole position of his career in this series. Camilo, who came with the best time thus far, will be in tomorrow’s front row, in second position.

The last two Stock champions, Marcos Gomes and Felipe Fraga form the second row, while Julio Campos and Ricardo Mauricio make the third.

Cacá Bueno will be seventh. Rubens Barrichello did not do well in qualifying training and will start the race in the 18th position.
