Salem, IN (December 18, 2003) -- Sunoco Super Series officials and Angola Motor Speedway officials announced today that Angola Motor Speedway would host two Sunoco Super Series events again in 2004. Angola Motor Speedway has had a Sunoco Super Series event on its schedule every year since 1998. Angola Motor Speedway will continue to have its traditional 150-lap Fourth of July Weekend Sunoco Super Series show on Saturday, July 3rd. The Sunoco Super Series will again be a part of the huge Labor Day Weekend show at Angola Motor Speedway with a 150-lap event on Saturday, September 4th.

"We have had tremendous success with the Sunoco Super Series 4th of July shows the last three years," remarked Angola Motor Speedway owner Dick Poe. "With all the lakes in this area, Angola Motor Speedway draws its best crowds on holiday weekends. The Sunoco Super Series event last season on Labor Day Weekend was a tremendous show, we are very happy to have the Sunoco Super Series on our 2004 schedule!"

Angola Motor Speedway owner Dick Poe has been a strong supporter of the Sunoco Super Series far several seasons. Poe is the car owner of series driver Scott Hantz the 2000 Sunoco Super Series Champion and three time winner and series points' runner-up in 2003. Poe is also the owner of EMF Engineered Wiring Systems, the sponsor of the Sunoco Super Series EMF Engineered Wiring Systems Hard Luck Award bonus, which was distributed at every series event in 2003 and the sponsor of the EMF Engineered Wiring Systems Hang Tough Award bonus given annually at the Sunoco Super Series Awards Banquet to the driver in the top fifteen in series points that had to "hang tough" the most during the season to stay in the top fifteen in points.

"I would like to thank Dick Poe for having the Sunoco Super Series at his great facility again in 2004," commented Sunoco Super Series Director Glenn Luckett. "We greatly appreciate the time and effort Dick puts into his race team and Angola Motor Speedway. Dick's race team has become one of the most respected late model teams in the nation. Scott Hantz has proven himself as a winner not only with the Sunoco Super Series but against the best drivers at some of the biggest late model events in the country!"
