Southern All-Stars Super Late Model Series heading home! Ben Atkinson and B.J. Parker return to lead the Super Late Model Series into the 2006 season.

Lexington, Michigan (12/28/05): The ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts has announced that the Southern All-Stars Super Late Model Series is heading back home! Ben Atkinson and B.J. Parker, the owners and operators of the Southern All-Stars Dirt Super Late Models and Trucks Series have re-assumed ownership of the Southern All-Stars Super Late Model Series and will be in operation for the 2006 season.

Due to the lack of a major Super Late Model traveling series in the Southern region of the United States, the ASA Late Model Series had previously announced the return of the Southern All-Stars Super Late Model Series for the 2006 season. Now all operations of the Southern All-Stars Super Late Model Series returns to the hands of Atkinson and Parker and all aspects of the Series are in full motion towards putting together everything needed for the upcoming year.

"We will work with B.J. and Ben to help secure race dates and sponsorship opportunities for the 2006 racing season." Stated ASA Late Model Series Founder/President Ron Varney. "We wish them the very best of luck and sincerely hope that they'll have a successful 2006 season." Varney ended.

The revised Southern All-Star Super Late Model Series rule book and the schedule will be made available very soon. For more information, contact Ben Atkinson or B.J. Parker at (256) 674-7305 or (256) 539-4484. You can also log onto the Southern All-Stars Series website at: www.southern-allstars.com
