Bobby Sak to drive Revolution Motorsports #10 Corvette at Mosport.
Son tells dad to mooooooooooove over!!!

DETROIT- May 9, 2002. Relinquishing his seat to his son Bobby, Revolution Motorsports own/driver, Don Sak will spend his weekend in Canada grinning with pride as his son, Bobby, pilot's the #10 Revolution Motorsports Corvette in the Victoria Day Weekend Trans Am race at Mosport International Raceway in Ontario.

The 23-year old driver will climb into his Dad's 2002 #10 Corvette, alongside teammate Stu Hayner, driving the #02 Trenton Forging Corvette.

"I can't wait to get to Canada," Bobby commented."I will learn so much from Stu's experience and my dad's knowledge of my driving style. Plus, Bobby added, this event brings a new partner to the team [Missing Children Society of Canada] and I look forward to helping them help a Canadian family."

No stranger to this track, Bobby competed at the Mosport Trans Am race in 2000 with Victoria Motorsports. After problems in qualifying, (34th) he ran good race to finish on the lead lap in 17th. He also won the BF Goodrich Tires"Take Control" award for improving the most positions of any competitor in the race.

Bobby began racing in 1992, driving four-cycle Briggs & Stratton karts. He moved on to SCCA Club Racing at Waterford hills in 1995, driving an ITS Mazda RX-7 and a GT-2 Datsun 240Z. In 1997, Bobby began his Spec Racer Ford Club Racing career, finishing third at the Valvoline Runoffs in 1998 and was SCCA Jim Fitzgerald Rookie of the Year. Voted by his fellow drivers, Bobby became Pro Spec Racer series Most Improved Driver for 1999.

In 2000 Bobby finished 3rd in the points in the 2000 Pro Spec Racer series, with 1 victory (Las Vegas), 4 podiums, and 8 top tens in 10 races. He finished 4th at the runoffs in 2000 in Spec Racer Ford. In 2001, Bobby competed in the Speed World Challenge Gt series in a Corvette. The car struggled through most of the season, but Bobby managed 1 top 5 (4th at Lime Rock) and 2 top 10 finishes. Highest finish for a rookie in the 2001 season (4th).

Revolution Motorsports will compete as part of the Trans-Am Series for the BF Goodrich Cup. All events are nationally televised on CBS and Speed Channel (formerly Speedvision). The Trans-Am Series is the oldest form of American sports car racing.
