Scott talks Richmond

"Richmond is a place I always look forward to. It's actually the first NASCAR track I ever ran on as I tested a Camping World Truck there. I've always liked Richmond. The modulation of the brakes on entry and the fast corners make for some exciting racing for the fans. I was fortunate to run a NASCAR Nationwide Series race there for Braun Racing and Great Clips at the end of last year. We had a really good shot at a solid top-10 before being involved in a late race incident. Hopefully we can duplicate the effort with a better result this time around."

Scott on momentum

"Coming off of a top-10 at Talladega gives us some momentum and carrying it through to another top-10 run in Richmond would be huge. Hopefully we can continue our good runs in the No. 11 AccuDoc Camry for this weekend's BUBBA Burger 250 and keep climbing up the points ladder. Our primary goal this season has been to make laps and finish races. So far I think we've done a decent job of accomplishing that goal and hopefully we can get into a stride here where we can reel off a couple of top-10's."

Scott on repeating tracks

"It's obviously a benefit to repeat tracks that you've been to in the Nationwide Series. The trucks handle much differently aero wise, so it's a bigger benefit on the faster racetracks. Going back to Richmond this weekend with the No. 11 team, we can look back on notes that I have from last fall when I ran with the No. 10 team. Having that frame of reference is a benefit in order to prepare."

Equipment Information

The No. 11 AccuDoc Solutions team is bringing chassis No. BR42 for this weekend's BUBBA Burger 250. BR42 was last seen at Phoenix where it started 17th and finished 16th.
