Peyton Sellers signs with ASM to drive #44 Casella Waste Systems Chevrolet

Harrisburg, NC - Peyton Sellers and ASM Motorsports announced today they will combine their talents and contend for a NASCAR Grand National Division, Camping World East Series title for the 2008 season with Casella Waste Systems. The powerful union now pairs the top returning driver with the number one team.

2007 was an impressive season for Peyton Sellers in the Camping World East Series. He finished third overall working out of his family's shop and running one race car all season. Santerre identified with Sellers' situation and was impressed with his accomplishments, having raced and won his first championship under similar circumstances. Santerre hand-picked Sellers to drive the #44 for ASM and Casella Waste Systems because he felt he deserved the opportunity, and knew he could get the job done.

"We're excited to sign Peyton," said Santerre. "With him aboard we'll continue ASM's tradition of being a front-running Championship contender. Peyton brings driving talent and a real knowledge of the racecar as well as an integrity and maturity not seen in someone his age at this level of competition. We're really happy to have him aboard, and hope to graduate him to the next level of NASCAR racing with another Championship under his belt." Santerre continues, "Casella is used to winning races and running up front. We are thrilled to have a driver who is capable of continuing their winning tradition."

Andy Santerre Motorsports is widely recognized as the most successful team in the NASCAR Camping World East Series. Led by four-time NASCAR Champion, Andy Santerre, ASM is known for its development of drivers for NASCAR's big three series. Past drivers include Sean Caisse and DEI development driver, Jeffrey Earnhardt. In 2008, Sellers will be a teammate to Austin Dillon, grandson of Richard Childress and an RCR Developmental Driver.

"We're thrilled", said Sellers, a 2005 National Champion. "ASM is a great fit for us. Andy has a ton of experience and runs a first-class operation. The chemistry is already there and we have a mutual respect for one another." Sellers will be bringing several members of his existing team along with him, including his brother and noted crew chief H. C. Sellers.

Casella Waste Systems, located in Rutland, VT, provides collection, transfer, disposal, recycling and resource management services to residential, industrial and commercial customers throughout the eastern United States. The company has committed to six of the series' 13 races on the schedule, allowing room for a second sponsor to also tap the powerhouse combination of Sellers and Santerre.

Sellers announced last year a cause-marketing partnership with SkillsUSA, a national student organization that supports technical education and skilled labor. This association will continue with ASM as well as Seller's "Stay in School" theme.

The first race of the season is scheduled for Saturday, April 19th at Greenville-Pickens Speedway in Greenville, SC. The team will begin testing later this month in preparation.
