Bristol Regional results

<pre> BRISTOL, Tenn. - Final round eliminations in Competition Eliminator and Super Comp have been postponed to the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Southern Nationals presented by Pontiac at Atlanta Dragway, Commerce, Georgia, next weekend.

Heavy rain moved into the Bristol area just as the Super Comp finalists were preparing to fire their cars and race officials threw in the towel.

The Competition Eliminator final will match David Rampy's B/Altered Automatic '32 Bantam against Michael Hardee's E/Super Modified Automatic '98 Grand Am.

The Super Comp final will match John Jones against Mickey Whaley, both in Chevy-powered dragsters.
