Rob Hart stops traveling with 4m Team

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (July 12, 2004) - It was announced today that team 4m crew chief Rob Hart has opted to leave the team to pursue other opportunities.

According to team owner Scott Chilcutt, "Rob is breaking ground on a new shop in Indianapolis and his daughter will be one-year-old in a couple of weeks. He simply believes it's time to make a change".

Chilcutt went on to say, "I'm personally going to miss just being around Rob, he has been great for the team and I've really enjoyed the past two and a half years".

"Shane Stewart is a talented driver, Scott Chilcutt has been great to work for and we've had some good runs," states Hart. "It's really just timing in deals like this and it's my time to move on".

Together, Stewart and Hart captured the ASCS Speedweek championship and Southern Iowa Speedweek Mr. Sprint Car honors in 2003, then won their first World of Outlaws feature earlier this season. In addition to winning the recent Dirt Cup Classic at Skagit Speedway in Washington, the pair also lead the O'Reilly Sprint Bandits championship points standings through the inaugural series' first eight events.

Australian Dave Sharman, who worked with the team during a portion of 2003, meets up with Shane Stewart and the rest of the team prior to this weekend's Kings Royal at Ohio's Eldora Speedway to fill the void through the Knoxville Nationals.

In addition to working with the team last summer, Sharman is also the crew chief for Bill Mann in Australia whom Stewart drove for during the winter, with the pair giving Mann his first ever World Series Sprint Car feature victory as an owner.

After this weekend's Kings Royal, next on the agenda for Stewart and the No. 4m Sprint Car team is Knoxville Raceway's Summer Classic on July 23 and 24.

More information regarding the mIn Motorsports Management No. 4m team and Shane Stewart, including results, is available at www.min-motorsports.com.
