TIFFIN, OH (July 20)-The Gumout Racing Series will return to Hartford Speedway in Hartford, MI on Friday, July 21st. Following its event in Hartford, the Gumout Racing Series will travel to Wilmot Speedway on July 21st for its final event in a three-race series in Wisconsin.

Craig Dollansky took home the win during the Gumout Racing Series first round at Hartford Speedway. The current point leader held off second finishing Jason Meyers during the 30-lap feature event to be rewarded with a $5,000 paycheck. Dollansky will return to Hartford, Michigan in hopes of making it two-for-two at the speedway.

Dollansky also won the series first event at Wisconsin this season. Dollansky led from green to checkered at The Raceway at Powercom Park to find victory for the fourth time in 2000. Jeff Shepard finished a close second, with Paul McMahan crossing the flagstand in third.

Jeff Shepard found victory at Sunnyview Speed Zone in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on July 11th. Dollansky, taking the early lead, ran into misfortune as he tangled with a lapped car late in the feature event. Shepard's win placed him a mere six points behind Dollansky in the Gumout Racing Series point battle.

Dollansky and Shepard will continue the battle at both Hartford and Wilmot this coming weekend. California's Paul McMahan, Jason Meyers, and Brad Furr will also be fighting for the $5,000 nightly prize.

Following the Gumout Racing Series action-packed weekend, the series travels to Williams Grove Speedway to compete with the Pennzoil World of Outlaws. The event will be televised on TNN:The Nashville Network on Friday, July 28th at 12 a.m. ET.
