Practice for Round 11 & 12 of the Indy Lights Championship held at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course went underway today and team-mates Matos and Luyendyk were very competitive.
Matos was 1st in Practice 1 with Luyendyk placing 4th in the strong 22 car field. Practice 2 in the heat of the day saw Luyendyk top the charts for much of the session but fell to sixth as Frank Perera toped the charts and a number of cars went on new tires.
"The practice sessions were very positive today and I think we have a strong car for qualifying. 3 of the top 6 cars went on new tires in practice 2 and I think I may have something for my team-mate tomorrow. Qualifying is very important here because of the limited passing zones, I'm crossing my fingers that the changes we are making will put the Targus/AFS/AGR car on the front row."
Qualifying kicks of at 11a.m. Eastern tomorrow with the first of the two races this weekend coming at 5:25p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
