ROUSH FENWAY RACING TO HOST FAN APPRECIATION DAY ON MAY 27
Concord, N.C. (May 10, 2010) - Roush Fenway Racing will host their 2010 Fan Appreciation Day on Thursday, May 27 at their corporate headquarters in Concord, N.C. Fans are invited to participate in an array of activities that kick off with autograph sessions by seven Roush Fenway drivers and Jack Roush himself and conclude with pit stop exhibitions Thursday afternoon.
Roush Fenway will be collecting non-perishable items to donate to the local Cabarrus County food pantries. Fans are asked to help Roush Fenway reach their goal of 1,000 pounds of food by brining donations of cans, boxed items, diapers, and formula. For Thursday's autograph event, 100 tickets will be distributed for each autograph session. Fans are asked to bring a donation of two items in exchange for a ticket. Tickets for both sessions will be distributed at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 27. The autograph sessions are as follows:
11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Greg Biffle, Carl Edwards, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. & Colin Braun
12:30 - 1:00 p.m. Jack Roush, Matt Kenseth, David Ragan & Chris Buescher
Thursday afternoon from 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. the Roush Fenway Sprint Cup teams will be participating in pit stop demonstrations and there will be a team transporter that fans will be able to explore. Fans will also be able to tour the Roush Fenway museum and shop in the official gift store in addition to visiting numerous displays from Ford, Roush Industries and many other partners. There will also be food and drink vendors so fans can make a day of it.
