HARTFORD, OH -- Chad Kemenah ran down Danny Smith and narrowly held off Kelly Kinser Wednesday night at Sharon Speedway to win the 40 lap Haulmark All Star Sprint Raceweek feature. Kemenah's third win of 2005 made him the third Raceweek winner in three events and came in the familiar Harble Motorsports Underground Utilities No. 15K Eagle chassis.

Byron Reed and Danny Smith led the 24 car field to the green, with Smith leading Reed and Dale Blaney after a lap. Smith pulled out to a big lead over Reed as Kemenah, who started13th, began moving through the pack on the bottom side of the racetrack and moved into tenth on lap 10. As the laps ticked off, a great battle between Ed Lynch Jr, John Ivy and Kenny Jacobs was taking place for fifth. Lynch fell from the wayside on lap 19 when he stopped on the track, making the running order Smith, Reed, Blaney, Brock Mayes and Ivy. Jacobs was sixth ahead of Kemenah and Kinser.

Following the restart, Blaney took second from Reed as Kemenah got a great restart to fly into third. Kemenah took second from Blaney on lap 26, and began cutting into Smith's half-straightaway advantage. A lap 31 caution for Kerry Madsen bunched the pack again, and Kemenah kept the pressure on Smith following the restart. He tried a high groove move in turn for the next lap, but Kemenah could not make the pass stick. Kemenah kept trying the high groove and Smith kept a narrow lead and Kinser watched the battle from third spot. Lap 35 saw Smith and Kemenah side by side at the flagstand, with Kemenah taking the advantage on the backstretch. Kinser took the low groove to move under Smith for second, and when the white flew, the leaders were side by side with Kinser low and Kemenah high. Kemenah had enough momentum coming off turn four the final lap to nip Kinser by the length of his sprint car at the finish line.

Smith ended third, ahead of Blaney, Randy Hannagan, who started 15th, Reed, Jacobs, Ivy, Chad Blonde and Ricky Logan.

The Crown Battery heat fell to Dean Jacobs, the B&B Products heat went to Jeremy Campbell, the Engler Machine and Tool heat was won by Jac Haudenschild and the TP Wings heat fell to Kerry Madsen. John Ivy won the University of Northwestern Ohio B Main and Kenny Jacobs captured the Haulmark Dash. Brock Mayes was the Huggins Cams Fast Time qualifier.
