Return to V8 Main Game for Wall
Fujitsu V8 Supercar Series regular, David Wall returns to the main game as co-driver to Karl Reindler at this weekend’s L&H 500 at Phillip Island.
David returns to the Brad Jones Racing team after a strong performance in last year’s endurance races with Karl in the Fair Dinkum Sheds Racing car.
Coming off the back of his best ever result in his Wilson Security Racing Fujitsu V8 Supercar, finishing 8th at Townsville, David is positive about being reunited with Karl on the track.
“I am looking forward to working with Karl and the Brad Jones Racing team again this year – hopefully we can pick up from where we finished at Bathurst last year,” said David.
“We tested the car at Winton last week and we are happy with how that went year and I am hoping for another strong result.
“I must thank my sponsors Paynter Dixon, Wilson Security, Shannons and Mount Aqua who have all helped me get to where I am.”
The L&H 500 will kick off with first practice at 11:30am on Friday morning.
This round has a unique qualifying format on Saturday that requires both drivers to play a significant role. Each driver will race their own sprint race with combined points from the two races making up the starting order the 500km race on Sunday.
